Going for gold!

Philip Payne have been awarded the order to manufacture special exit signs for the new Olympic stadium fro the 2012 London games. The project includes all front of house and VIP areas as well the trackside seated areas and associated escape routes.

As with previous projects at Wembley Stadium , Royal Ascot and Wimbledon it is the flexibility of Payne that has won favour with the project Architects Populous.

The new Olympic stadium has all of the architectural , aesthetic and fixing obstacles encountered at Ascot , Wembley and Wimbledon but the ability of Payne to adapt standard product and manufacture bespoke requirements has led to this prestigious project being won sitting comfortably in the Payne portfolio alongside a host of Architectural projects previously awarded to Payne including Bank of England , HM Treasury , the Gherkin and the BBC white City.

Dune and dusted

Adding to an ever growing portfolio of impressive sites PhiliPayne Emergency product has been specified for the new Dune store along with the designer outlet Hobbs at London’s new prestigious mixed used development One New Change.

The project designed by Pritzer Prize winner Jean Nouvel, neighbours St Paul's Cathedral in London's Cheapside and promises to emerge as another London icon.

A variety of Payne product has already been supplied for use in all of the main core areas but as blue chip clients compete for a share in the 20,000 square metres of shops, cafes and restaurants the range of high quality emergency lighting designs supplied by Payne continues to find favour with discerning designers.

Gordon Ramsey Holdings have acquired one unit on the ground floor and two on the first floor and Payne product has been specified on the interior design. Payne products already feature at most existing Ramsay venues as well as many other top London eating venues.
