Middle East Update

October 2015 saw Philip Payne return to the Middle East for a number of reasons.
The first is that our group sales operation "Thorlux LLC" had reached its' first anniversary and a general review was required to assess the highs and lows of our first year with 2 x "FWThorpe PLC" Directors travelling to glean first hand a view  of local operations.
The second was to launch the recently Kitemarked Philip Payne automatic Emergency Lighting monitoring and test system - SPECTOWEB.

As previously an event for local specifiers was organised and a presentation delivered featuring the workings of SPECTOWEB and its' compliance benefits to the local UAE fire and safety code. Attendees were given a copy of the new UAE brochure showcasing the products that have Civil Defence Approval across the region.

Emergency Lighting Conference - April 2015

As one of the main sponsors Philip Payne were delighted with the attendance and positive feedback from the industry conference held in London on 23.04.15.

Delegates from the building design fraternity sat alongside end users with a common goal of further understanding the challenges that immerse emergency lighting compliance.
These  ranged from the non negotiable statutory requirements to the obstacles faced when trying to ensure the aesthetics of a designed area are not compromised by Em Lighting.
Philip Payne remain market leaders when it comes to the latter -  see https://www.flickr.com/photos/philip-payne/sets/   for shots of some of our project work including The Walkie Taklie , The Gherkin , The Shard , Shakespeare's Globe , Wembley Stadium , Royal Ascot and many other iconic London and UK landmarks   .
